Top-ranked Sherman Oaks Notre Dame is going to need another seventh-inning rally. The Knights are down to their final three outs, trailing No. 3 Crespi, 2-1, going into the top of the seventh.

Tyler Johnson has limited the Knights to three hits, striking out seven and walking none. And looming ahead for Notre Dame is the challenge of trying to defeat closer Sean Gilmartin, who has 17 saves the last two seasons and could be getting the call in the seventh.

If Crespi wins, it will pull into a first-place tie with Notre Dame in the Mission League, leading to a final game against the Knights on Thursday at Valley College.
