Boys’ lacrosse: Oak Park leading by a goal at halftime

It’s been a physical, hard-fought game, but Oak Park has capitalized on two extra-man opportunities to take a 5-4 lead over Palos Verdes at halftime of Wednesday’s Southern Section North Division final at Mira Costa High.

Brett Zeolla scored Oak Park’s first four goals. His counterpart, Alex Richardson, has scored twice for Palos Verdes. There are 24 minutes remaining in this one, and it’s still anyone’s game.
