Golf: A little uncommon news as Cerritos posts best score

It may not be as rare as a pitcher hurling a perfect game, but, if you think about it, one golf team beating another team by just one stroke is pretty darn uncommon.

That’s what happened yesterday when Cerritos shot a team score of 376, just barely edging out Los Alamitos’ 377 in the CIF Southern Section Central Division regional at Lakewood Country Club to advance to Thursday’s sectional.

Raymond Ho’s 1-under-par 71 and Kevin Tech’s 72 led the Dons.
