Football: Blair hires Verbum Dei assistant as head coach

Gary Bernard Park was introduced as Blair’s new football coach today/Friday by Athletic Director Gamal Smalley. A quarterbacks coach at Verbum Dei, Parks replaces Lavell Sanders, who resigned three weeks ago.

The school also has promoted Andrea Richardson to girls’ volleyball coach. Richardson was an assistant on the team last year after having graduated from Cal State Los Angeles.

Park is inheriting a program that finished 9-2 and was the Rio Hondo League co-champion last season.
