Girls’ basketball: Diamond Bar hires former Artesia boys’ assistant

Christopher Holmes has been named the new girls’ basketball coach at Diamond Bar. Although he was a head coach for the Nogales boys for two seasons, he most notably was an assistant on the boys’ basketball team at Artesia when it won a state title in 2007.

He was an assistant for the Diamond Bar boys last season.
