Boys’ volleyball: New City champion soon to be crowned at CSUN

The City Section’s championship match between Palisades and El Camino Real is less than 20 minutes away and it’s a classic David vs. Goliath matchup at Cal State Northridge.

In the role of David will be ninth-seeded El Camino Real, which upset Sylmar on Tuesday to reach its first City final. Playing Goliath will be the second-seeded Dolphins, who are undefeated and surging with confidence after dethroning two-time defending champion Granada Hills in the semifinals.

Can the Conquistadores slay another giant or will the Dolphins win their first section title in 10 years? We’ll soon find out.
