Boys’ volleyball: Valencia advances to Division II finals

Thanks to the efforts of Jake Piva, Derrick Trent and Jon Griffith, Valencia took Game 4 and defeated Dos Pueblos, 25-16, 25-15, 23-25, 25-19, in a Southern Section-Toyota Division II semifinal on Wednesday night.

The Vikings will play either Corona del Mar or Santa Barbara at 5 p.m. Saturday at Cal State Dominguez Hills.
