Baseball: Former Hart standout named WAC Player of the Year

Fresno State senior outfielder and former Hart standout Steve Susdorf has been selected the Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year. Susdorf batted .398 with 47 RBI and 15 doubles in 32 conference games for the Bulldogs.

Susdorf’s younger brother, Danny, is currently the cleanup hitter for Hart and is sporting a .428 average with 25 RBIs heading into the Indians’ Southern Section-Toyota Division I quarterfinal against Long Beach Wilson on Friday. Steve’s older brother, Billy, was a standout at UCLA.
