Well, it seems Northview and Diamond Ranch can open an inning with hits, but they can’t make anything of them.

The score remains tied, 0-0, after four innings despite getting leadoff hits. Northview’s Kevin Jones opened the inning with a single to right, but he was left stranded at second base after Rich Pedroza, Robert Williams and Marc Andrade went down in order.

Nick Greene singled to right field for Diamond Ranch, but Kyle Lengyel hit into a 4-6-3 double play to end the inning.

It appears that pitcher’s duel I blogged about earlier is coming true. This could be a very low-scoring affair and one mistake could prove the difference.

Here’s a photo of the courtesy Dodger Dogs the press gets to munch on during the games.
