El Modena has started the second inning with two singles, senior Allison Taylor is now at third with no outs and Kylie Wagner at the plate. Is the mercy rule in effect in championship games?
El Modena has a chance to set a new Southern Section-Toyota record for most runs scored by a team in a championship game. The record currently belongs to Santa Maria St. Josepsh, which beat Ontario Christian back in 1982 by the score of 12-2.
El Modena just added another run is now up 6-0. Glendora is changing pitchers. In goes senior Talia Fernandez, out goes Dana Waldusky, who pitched 1.1 innings and allowed six runs, only three of those are earned.
