El Modena beat Glendora, 12-4, to win the Southern Section-Toyota Division II championship Friday at Barber Park in Irvine.
The game lasted three hours and five minutes, but it probably felt longer than that to Glendora’s players.
El Modena senior Kylie Wagner, who hit the first of two consecutive home runs in the first inning, pitched a complete game.
