A new NCAA-certified basketball league for current college players will be held this summer at Los Angeles Salesian, and lots of former high school standouts from the Southland are expected to participate, according to its organizer, former Harvard-Westlake player Rico Cabrera.

The league gets under way on June 16. Here’s the schedule. Among the players expected are Mike Roll from Aliso Niguel and UCLA, Drew Housman from Harvard and Calabasas and former North Carolina player Alex Stepheson, who played at Harvard-Westlake.
