Football: Palmdale junior is not out of the Woods yet

Don’t look now, but it appears as if Walter Woods has emerged as a legitimate prospect. The 6-foot, 270-pound junior from Palmdale has opened the eyes of Division I scouts on the West Coast and could be on the verge of landing his first scholarship offer.

San Diego State is most interested, according to these quotes. Other schools that have been in contact include Arizona, Hawaii and Oregon. Suppose I should also mention that Washington and USC are in the picture, and given those facts, Woods has to be considered one to watch from now on.
