With the last pick in Round 15, John Lally, a left-handed pitcher from Santa Margarita, was selected by the Boston Red Sox with the No. 472 overall pick Friday in Major League Baseball’s first-year player draft. Lally, who has accepted a scholarship offer from Loyola Marmount, was the lone player from the Southland selected this round.
