After attending my first passing competition of the summer Tuesday night at Alemany, I have come to a definite conclusion: Hart has another outstanding talent ready to turn loose. His name is Demitri Diamond, and he’s going to be a standout at running back, receiver and linebacker.

He’s 6 feet 2, weighs 203 pounds and he showed at the end of last season with a couple long runs that he has speed. Now he’s bigger and stronger for his senior season, and his aggressiveness was on display in the seven-on-seven competition that also featured the host Warriors, Burbank Burroughs and Sylmar.

Hart is looking to find a starting quarterback, but Diamond’s size and speed ought to make him a player to watch this fall.
