Alex Marin, a junior offensive lineman at Loyola, is probably the only high school football player in America who can brag that his mom’s signature is on U.S. currency.

Rosario Marin was the 41st treasurer of the United States. She served from 2001 to 2003 during the first term of George W. Bush. She’s a former mayor of Huntington Park.
