Encino Crespi pulled away in the fourth quarter to secure a 30-13 victory over Layton (Utah) Northridge in its season opener in St. George, Utah, on Saturday night.

After holding a 16-13 lead through three quarters, the Celts got a blocked punt, and Village Christian transfer Khalil Bass picked up the loose ball and scored a touchdown. Jeremiah McKibbins also scored on a long run.
