Ricky Marvray is the Inland Empire’s top receiver, the best the 909 has to offer. In fact, the 6-foot senior from Corona Centennial is one of the Southland’s premier pass-catchers and his six Division I scholarship offers are a good indication of just how talented he currently is, and could be down the road.

Air Force, Army, Northwestern, along with San Diego State, Utah and Wyoming, are among the colleges waiting for a pledge from Marvray. However, trouble could be on the horizon for each of the aforementioned schools because several high-profile Pac-10 Conference programs have been in contact with him recently.

‘We’re expecting big things from Ricky,’’ Centennial Coach Matt Logan said. ‘He’s our leader. When you start a program, when you’re building a program, you want a kid like Ricky around. That’s something that will help him at the next level. He’s going to have numerous offers thrown at him, just watch.’’
