Eric Saucedo has returned an interception 30 yards for a touchdown, giving Garfield a 29-14 lead over 15th-ranked Birmingham with 4:42 left at Birmingham. Garfield fans are delirious.

One Garfield fan in the pressbox is calling the Bulldogs the Appalachian State of high school football, and he’s not far off in how big an upset is unfolding.
