Football: Previews and a little something on Ganesha

If you haven’t already seen it, you’ll definitely want to check out the San Gabriel Valley Tribune’s 2008 high school football preview.

Fred Robledo and the gang put together a comprehensive look at all of the SGV-based teams and it deserves a meticulous click-through.

Oh, and the SGV football season starts tonight when Ganesha plays host to Azusa at 7 p.m.

I know it’s not the most spectacular way to kick off the season, but the game could be better than Golden Valley-Littlerock. I’ll be rooting for Ganesha to somehow ditch its nasty, 48-game losing streak. It would be a major bummer if every Ganesha blog we wrote this year was little more than a losing streak update.
