Football: Notre Dame and Saugus set to get started

Arrived in the Valley for the Notre Dame and Saugus game well ahead of time. So early that I had plenty of time to grab some dinner at Barone’s with a couple of my former colleagues, Gerry Gittelson and Mike Gaber.

Anyway, the food, and the conversation, was great. And I anticipate the game between the Knights, ranked No. 8 by The Times, and the Centurions will be even better. Kickoff is 40 minutes from now, so expect plenty of updates throughout the evening.
