After St. Bonaventure forced Long Beach Poly to turn the ball over on downs for the second time in less than three quarters, the Seraphs’ offense woke up and tied the score at 7-7 on a short touchdown pass from Logan Meyer to Zach Meyer.

The key play for the Seraphs was Devon Blackledge’s 56-yard run that set up Meyer’s touchdown pass.

Long Beach Poly, ranked No. 2 by The Times, has struggled in the passing game, and that could spell the difference in the fourth quarter.
