Football: No. 8 Notre Dame vs. No. 6 Servite

I’ve already seen Servite play a couple times and, as far as I’m concerned, the Friars and St. John Bosco are the favorites to take the Trinity League title (you’ll want to be at Cerritos College on Nov. 14 when they close out the regular season against each other).

Unfortunately, I haven’t drawn any solid conclusions about Notre Dame just yet. I know QB Ryan Kasdorf pummeled Saugus last week, but we won’t see a repeat of that offensive smorgasbord against the experienced Servite defense.

Plus, can certified recruiting bait Jordan Barrett and the rest of the Knights put the lockdown on RB Greg Portis?
