Football: Elway set to return to Granada Hills

The greatest football player in Granada Hills history, quarterback John Elway, is returning to his alma mater on Monday night for the taping of a new ESPN series, ‘Homecoming.’ It will be filmed in the school’s gym, where friends, family, students and alumni will be present.

Coming in from Arizona for the gathering is former Granada Hills baseball Coach Darryl Stroh, who will be expected to tell some of his stories, like flushing the toilet in the locker room after grilling his players.

‘I don’t know if that’s going to come up,’ Stroh said. ‘It depends on what they ask.’
