Basketball: Paramount’s Elliott makes choice, commits to Nevada

About a month ago, I received a comment on a blog from one of our loyal Varsity Times Insider readers and he was curious about the recruiting status of Devonte Elliott. And finally, several weeks later, I’ve got an update.

A report surfaced on WolfPackChat.com indicating that the 6-foot-8 senior forward from Paramount committed to Nevada earlier this week. Elliott had offers from George Washington, Gonzaga and UTEP as well.

Coach Mark Fox and the rest of the Wolfpack should be congratulated for landing a pledge from Elliott, who many consider to be one of the Southland’s most underrated players with a skill set that improves daily.
