Edison gave up the ball again on a fumble, with Los Alamitos making the Chargers pay. Taking over the ball on the Edison 45, the Griffins drove to the one-yard line, where quarterback Clark Evans scored with 2:16 left in the second quarter, giving Los Alamitos a 16-7 lead.

Edison has run off just five offensive plays because of two fumbles and Los Alamitos controlling the clock.
