Football: Rancho Verde teammates commit to Arizona

A couple of Rancho Verde standouts have unveiled their college plans.

Running back Daniel Jenkins and tight end Terrence Miller announced this weekend that they have committed to Arizona.

Jenkins is one of the top RBs in the Inland Empire and a big reason why the Mustangs, ranked No. 21 by The Times, are still undefeated on the season. He’s rushed for 515 yards and nine TDs through five games before going down with a shoulder injury. Nevada, New Mexico and Washington State also had offers on the table for the 5-foot-10, 180-pound speedster.

The 6-foot-4 Miller has a team-best 209 receiving yards along with four touchdowns. Utah had also offered him a scholarship. Here he is showing off his Pac-10 form:
