Football: Dominguez gets first win

A trying season in which its coach quit because his work schedule wouldn’t allow him to attend practices became a little more pleasant for Dominguez when Marcus Darden rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns to lead the visiting Dons (1-6, 1-1) to a 49-21 San Gabriel League victory over Downey (3-4, 1-1).

It was Dominguez’s first triumph under interim Coach Jose Rosa. The Dons play host to Paramount (4-3, 0-2) on Friday.
