Football: Still no score in Birmingham-Taft game

Taft and Birmingham have each had two possessions and failed to score in their showdown for first place in the West Valley League. Birmingham has twice had the ball deep in Taft territory but failed on fourth down.
Both schools are 4-0 in league and a victory would give the winner a likely top four seed for the City Section Championship Division playoffs. The seeding meeting is Saturday.
