Rancho Verde standout Michael Snaer may have decided to wait a couple more days before signing, but no one should be surprised that he announced this afternoon that he’s signed with Florida State.

The Seminoles were the frontrunners all along even though Kansas and Marquette were supposedly on his college list, too. I’m sure there were plenty of others interesting his services because the 6-foot-4 senior guard could start for pretty much any team in the country.

Snaer’s on-court popularity soared over the summer thanks to some fine showings at the Pangos All-American camp and at the GBOA Hoops tournament.
