Santa Barbara was well aware of the fact that John Lister was going to receive his fair share of touches, but there was nothing the Dons could do about stopping the senior from host Thousand Oaks in a 49-28 loss on Friday in a Northern Division first round playoff game. The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder rushed for 205 yards and scored three touchdowns in the first half alone as the Lancers built a 28-21 halftime lead. It was more of the same after intermission. Lister reached scored two more times and finished with a school-record 328 yards on 38 carries. The Dons kept the game somewhat close behind the arm of John Uribe, who threw four touchdown passes. He tossed a pair of scores to Roberto Nelson and one each to Chase Chandler and Bryson Lloyd. Lister scored on his first touch of the game, a 20-yard run, and added a 1-yard plunge to close out the first quarter to tie the score, 14-14. He scored on a 26-yard run just before halftime, and finished the Dons off with a 1-yard score in the third quarter and 21-yarder with 6:54 left in the fourth quarter. -- Sean Ceglinsky
