It’s been raining sporadically here at Taft HS since I arrived about an hour ago and I’ve parked myself under the overhang of the announcers booth. The rain hasn’t done anything to already hurt the mudpot of a field, but if the band can march over it (like they did during the pre-game festivities), Taft and San Fernando can definitely play on it.

Stay tuned for updates after each quarter, weather permitting. As long as I can use my laptop, I’ll make sure you stay in the loop on this City Section Championship Division quarterfinal matchup between the Toreadors (10-1) and San Fernando (8-3).
