Orange Lutheran cornerbacks Gabe Lemon and Davonte Anderson made all the difference in the Lancers’ 24-14 victory over Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.

How good were they? James Flynn, who came in with 19 TD receptions for Notre Dame, didn’t catch a single pass all night. Ryan Kasdorf was limited to 133 yards passing.

All those Trinity League games against Mater Dei, St. John Bosco and Servite prepared the Lancers for Notre Dame’s big-play offense. And the defense came through. And the offense also delivered behind Exavier Edwards, who rushed for 121 yards.
