Football: Coaches gambling in Central Division semifinal

In the first quarter of the Central Division final between Los Osos and Upland, both head coaches have already sent out a message that they are not going to play it safe.

Upland went for a first down on fourth-and-one from its 34-yard line and succeeded. Los Osos went for a first down on fourth-and-one from its 29 and succeeded. It’s a scoreless game with 2:18 left in the quarter.
