After stopping the option play, Upland forced quarterback Richard Brehaut of Los Osos to start passing, and he made the Highlanders pay. Brehaut completed a 51-yard pass to Trevor Rogina and finished with a 21-yard touchdown pass to Arby Fields, tying the Central Division semifinal at 7-7 with 1:37 left in the second quarter.
It’s now halftime in an evenly played affair.
