Boys’ basketball: Fairfax begins league play with victory

Renardo Sidney scored 23 points and had 10 rebounds and seven assists to help Fairfax defeat Hamilton, 77-60, in a Western League opener Friday. Lance Bailey added 18 points and Donte McFrazier had 16 points. Royce Williams scored 22 points for Hamilton. Fairfax is 5-0.
