Live blog: Arleta running away from Franklin, 29-8

Bryan Choto scampered 15 yards on a quarterback keeper and Christian Lopez tacked on the extra point to increase Arleta’s lead to 29-8 over Franklin in tonight’s City Invitational football final at East Los Angeles College.

Omar Sanchez set up the score with a 37-yard run to the Panthers’ 30-yard line. Franklin quarterback Adrian Diaz was just sacked at his own five-yard line on third down and the Panthers will have to punt from their own end zone with 5:16 remaining.
