Football: City final attracted 8,400 at Coliseum

Attendance at the Coliseum for Saturday’s City Championship Division final between Narbonne and San Pedro was approximately 8,400, according to John Aguirre, a City Section administrator. The Southern Section Pac-5 final between Long Beach Poly and Tesoro drew a little more than 11,000 to Angel Stadium.

The City Invitational final Friday night at East L.A. between Arleta and Franklin drew 2,231.

There were lots of overflow crowds at Southern Section finals Friday and Saturday.
