Chase Rettig, one of the top junior quarterbacks in the Southland this past season at Pasadena La Salle, is in the process of transferring to San Clemente.
The 6-foot-3 Rettig has started the last two seasons at La Salle. His private quarterback coach is Steve Clarkson. He’s a huge pickup for a San Clemente team that must compete with Mission Viejo and Tesoro in the South Coast League.
