With 6-10 Travis Wear home sick and guard Tyler Lamb not starting because of illness, Mater Dei wasn’t exactly at full strength for its Trinity League showdown with Orange Lutheran Friday night. It made no difference.

The Monarchs routed Orange Lutheran, 102-77, to improve to 20-0 overall and 5-0 in the Trinity League. David Wear scored 26 points and had 11 rebounds, Lamb came off the bench to score 23 points, Gary Franklin Jr. had 21 points and Andy Brown 21 points.
