Baseball: Schulhofer is back coaching at Canyon

During a brief run as baseball coach at Canyon Country Canyon, Adam Schulhofer seemed on his way to making the program one of the best in the Santa Clarita Valley from 1999-2003, including an appearance in a Southern Section championship game. Then he took time off for family reasons.

But Schulhofer, a former standout at Canoga Park and UCLA, is back as the Cowboys’ baseball coach, and he’ll fit right in because the Foothill League has loaded up on quality coaches, from Jim Ozella at Hart to Jared Snyder at Valencia, from John Maggiora at Saugus to Scott Drootin at Golden Valley.
