Surf team rosters loaded with locals

Surfing America, the national governing body for surfing in the USA, has selected its rosters for the Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships in Ecuador next month, and there is strong local representation.

On the boys’ under-18 team is Chase Wilson from Newport Beach. On the boys’ under-16 team are Kolohe Andino from San Clemente, Conner Coffin from Santa Barbara and Ian Crane from San Clemente. On the girls’ under-18 team are Courtney Conlogue from Santa Ana, Lakey Peterson from Santa Barbara and Kaleigh Gilchrist from Newport Beach.
