Boys’ basketball: Wear twins, Sidney make McDonald’s game

The McDonald’s All-American Game announcement is coming shortly, but I’ve been able to confirm that Santa Ana Mater Dei 6-foot-10 twins Travis and David Wear have been selected for the boys’ game, along with Fairfax center Renardo Sidney.
The Wear brothers give Mater Dei six players who have appeared in the prestigious game. This year’s games will be April 1 in Miami at the BankUnited Center.
