Girls’ basketball: Four players selected for McDonald’s game

Four Southern California players were selected for the girls’ West roster for the McDonald’s All-American game: Chatsworth forward Gennifer Brandon, Foothill forward Christina Marinacci, pictured, Long Beach Poly center Monique Oliver and Muir guard Eliza Pierre. Marinacci and Oliver are bound for USC.

UCLA signee Markel Walker, a 6-2 forward from Schenley High in Pittsburgh, was selected to the East roster. The game will be held April 1 in Miami.
