Ontario Colony turned a one-point halftime lead over Moreno Valley Canyon Springs into a 76-59 victory tonight in the girls’ Southern Section Divsion I-A championship game at Santa Ana Mater Dei High.

Third-seeded Canyon Springs (24-7) had no answer for Colony senior center Camile Buckley who dominated on the offensive boards, converting countless put-back layups.

The Titans (28-3) are on quite a streak, winning their second championship game in a row after claiming their first section title in Division III-A last year.
