Boys’ basketball: Johnson resigns at Newbury Park

Steve Johnson, the boys’ basketball coach for 15 years at Newbury Park, has resigned. He guided the Panthers to two Marmonte League championships and eight playoff appearances.

The school has begun a search for his replacement.
