SACRAMENTO--The third quarter of today’s state Division IV championship game belonged to Bishop Montgomery, which transformed a two-point halftime deficit into a 10-point lead when Michael Panaggio fed Richard Solomon for a dunk that gave the Knights a 54-44 lead over Salesian heading into the fourth quarter.

This has been a game of wild momentum swings, with Salesian going on an 18-2 run in the first half and Bishop Montgomery countering with a 17-0 run to close the second quarter and open the third.
