Baseball: Cleveland routs Taft

Two days after rallying from a 6-0 deficit to win, Reseda Cleveland made sure there was no drama in its West Valley League victory Thursday over Taft.

Robert Almendarez had a home run and three runs batted in and Niko Garcia had three hits, including a home run, in the Cavaliers’ 15-3 victory. Cleveland improved to 7-2 overall and 2-0 in league.

El Camino Real and Chatsworth are locked in a 2-2 tie in the 12th inning, with Chatsworth trying to give Coach Tom Meusborn his 500th career win.
