Edison might have lost shortstop Ryan Miller for the season today after he suffered a suspected torn medial collateral ligament in the fourth inning of the Chargers’ 4-3 victory over Marina.

Miller suffered the injury running toward first base on a groundout. He crumpled to the ground in agony and had to be helped off the field. He was replaced by A.J. Libuano, who started Edison’s seventh-inning rally against the Vikings when he drew a leadoff walk off Paul Strong.

Kyle Jones singled to right with two out and Eric Snyder drew a two-out walk before Chris Czerniachowski hit a two-strike, two-out, two-run single to left-center field with the bases loaded to score the tying and winning runs.
