Baseball: Vigo comes through for Simi Valley

Dennis Vigo delivered his second consecutive game-winning hit this week, driving in the winning run to help Simi Valley defeat Thousand Oaks, 2-1, in an eight-inning Marmonte League game Friday.

Jonathan Meyer picked up the victory by striking out four in three shutout innings of relief. Simi Valley improved to 4-0 in league and 7-3 overall.
